Victorian awnings for Wild Tavern

Opening in November, we have already installed these eight fabulous Victorian awnings to the new Wild Tavern in Elystan Street in Chelsea, Southwest London. The matching orange awning fabrics in their traditional wooden boxes fit perfectly with the elegant style of this attractive Georgian style building. The hardwood boxes of the awnings have been painted in a subtle shade and they fit snugly within the window reveals so as to appear as part of the original construction.  The awning arms have been powder coated by our in house coating department.

Wild Tavern, from the people behind Goodmans and Beast restaurants is a new Mediterranean neighbourhood concept, focused around fish and the wild of Italy, Spain and France. Wild Tavern will be an informal neighbourhood restaurant serving premium Mediterranean food. 

Despite the elegant look today the area of Elystan Street was once occupied by very narrow houses and Elystan Street itself was previously called cottage street which rather summed up the area as it was in centuries past
