The corner location of these two striking Victorian awnings we have just installed at the well know Ten Bells Pub in Spitalfields is a perfect demonstration of how our striking awnings have become a feature of the historic buildings of old London. The buildings may be a couple of hundred years old or more but our Victorian awnings, made just as they were so many years ago, blend perfectly with the architecture of the time. The traditional branding of the awnings has been achieved through the use of our bespoke RAGS® graphic application process which has ensured the detailed text on the logo has been faithfully reproduced.
Directly in the middle of Spitalfields lies the hostelry that is The Ten Bells. History oozes from this grand old pub with its candle lit demeanour which continues to serve as a social hub for the constantly evolving changing customer base. Beyond the listed tile work there is selection of quality beers, a magnificent wine list and a serious gin menu in the old fashioned way. There is also a wide selection of old fashioned and classic cocktails available all day.
Spitalfields was historically one of the poorest, most overcrowded and most crime-ridden districts in London: a parliamentary report of 1838 described this area as harbouring "an extremely immoral population; receivers of stolen goods, thieves and the most atrocious offenders". Today things could hardly be different with emerging stylish businesses and desirable properties attracting the trendy up and comers to the area.
