Victorian awnings for Eight Members Club

These seven traditional style Victorian awnings we have recently installed at the Eight Members Club on Dysart Street Marylebone are perfectly suited, by their understated appearance, to this sophisticated venue.  The Victorian awnings have been  constructed using the finest seasoned, harvested, hardwoods and are  finished with an environmentally friendly water based paint. The metal work on these traditional Victorian awnings is formed from steel which has  been powder coated, in our own finishing plant, to give an exceptional degree of resistance to weathering.  

Eight is a private members’ club with two locations in the heart of the City of London. The clubs offer a wide scope of facilities, such as meeting rooms, pool tables, a fine dining restaurant and cinema. Quartier Restaurant, found on the club’s first floor, makes for a beautiful dining experience with its floor to ceiling windows and contemporary menu. The restaurant works perfectly for quick business lunches with its du jour menu or indulgent dinners in the evening."

London has, since the 18th Century, been a centre for Private Members Clubs which became a peculiarly English thing and it was a must to be a Member if one wanted to be considered as amongst the "ton" or trendy set as we might say today
