Victorian awning installed in Bayswater

21 Feb 2018

A New Victorian awning has recently been installed at Laurent  delicatessen and patisserie, 39 Craven Road Bayswater, which is just a little way down from Europa FoodsXB's popular "Le Supermarche" EuropaFoodXB  French Supermarket. Specialising in Italian and French cuisine including many tasty treats. Excellent service comes with perfect  coffee and delicious  sandwiches, also splendid desserts can be chosen to  finish off your relaxed snack.

This Victorian awning has been manufactured by us in our joinery shop using  harvested hardwood with the matching green  paintwork finished in environmentally safe, water based, paints. The  traditional iron work has been powder coated in historically correct black to give a robust, long lasting finish in traditional black.  Note especially the weighted valance on this installation which best displays the applied graphics, and the carefully placed clout nails we use to affix the cover - all examples of the care our installers take with every job.

The name Bayswater originates from the place name Bear's Watering which was within the boundaries of the Abbey of Westminster and provided water for the Abbott and household. Today the area is known for its attractive streets and garden squares lined with Victorian stucco terraces, mostly now subdivided into flats and boarding houses.
