SQ2 recessed awning for the Milton Keynes Gallery

This SQ2 recessed awning has been especially constructed by us to fit inside a client prepared box/recess. The SQ2 is the ideal  awning installation for new build shop fronts  or shop front conversions. The SQ2 comprises a neat, contemporary, recessed awning system which is unique amongst similar products in that the front profile has been designed to merge completely with the shopfront facia.  No other commonly designated recessed awning can meet this design criteria which means that, when retracted, the awning front profile runs completely flush with the building facade. The SQ2 recessed commercial awning is remotely controlled by a wireless switch and can be protected with a motion sensing devise to ensure retraction in windy conditions. All parts are powder coated in our factory to provide a resilient weather proof aspect.

Inspired by the unique history of Milton Keynes, the new building, designed by renowned architects 6a, is an iconic feature of the city skyline. The view of the building from Campbell Park is not to be missed when you visit. Changing exhibitions of international art sit across five large, beautiful gallery spaces. Cutting edge contemporary art is displayed alongside Old Masters to present a dynamic, diverse and stimulating programme. For families, there are weekly art workshops – Start the Art and Saturday Studio – and lots of other exciting programmes throughout the year. Adjacent to the building is the City Club Playscape – an artist designed play area – which is open 365 days a year for children to play, learn and enjoy
