Signature awning, The Diner, Camden

This very big Signature commercial awning has been installed at the Camden branch of the American themed Diner Restaurant. The Signature is the  strongest of all our folding-arm awnings, being  robust enough to give protection to large areas it was ideal for this long frontage to the Diner and has an extension of 2.5 meters. The awning has a one piece fabric cover so there is no need for awkward joining strips then, when  retracted, the cover is enclosed within its own housing ensuring complete protection against the elements. Electric operation of the awning is via wireless controls and the addition solar and wind sensors adds to  convenience and safety.

The Diner is a friendly, American themed, restaurant chain serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in the American style. Burgers, milk shakes and blueberry pancakes are just typical items; all served with a smile and at a reasonable price. Even when packed on the weekend service is fast and efficient. Cocktails in the evening and weekends are something not to be missed.

The Regent's Canal runs through the north end of Camden Town.  Many of the canal handrails by the bridges show deep marks worn by the towropes by which horses pulled canal barges until the 1950s, and it is still possible to see ramps on the canal bank designed to assist horses which fell in the canal after being startled by the noise of a train.
