This Victorian awning was a particular challenge due to it being over six meters wide. Convention would have it that this was far too wide for a Victorian awning. However, with carefully placed of intermediate arms, our surveyors were able to come up with a suitable solution. Close study of the awning photographs will show there is no deflection in the hard wood front timber lath - a credit to our installers. Note that, for a Victorian awning installation of this length, it is essential that the awning be operated by at least three people and the opening and retracting is done in strict sequence.
