Setting off this stunning building in Cambridge Circus are beautiful new Victorian awnings installed on the award winning Vico restaurant. With their hardwood awning boxes and traditional sliding arms these stunning awnings frame the Romanesque entrance to this listed building.
Manufactured in our fast expanding factory, alongside the River Thames, the awning fabric covers are decorated using our latest apllied graphics technology which ensures that they look good even under the adverse central London conditions.
Located at One Cambridge Circus, gateway to the popular Seven Dials, VICO is an indoor piazza serving Southern Italian cuisine paired with award-winning Gelupo gelato. VICO won a Bib Gourmand in the 2017 Michelin Guide. Their menu is focused on Sunny Southern Italy, charting the journey of the Appian Way, the Roman road that has linked Rome to Brindisi for thousands of years.
In his spy novels, the famous author John le Carré sited the HQ of the fictionalised British intelligence service, based on MI6, in buildings located on Shaftesbury Avenue and Cambridge Circus; from these is derived Le Carré's nickname for the agency, "The Circus".
Gordon Corera of the BBC noted that the entrance described by Le Carré very closely resembles 90 Charing Cross Road which is just north of Cambridge Circus. In fact MI6 has never occupied premises in or near Cambridge Circus at all!
