New look awnings at Dermalogica Flagshipb Store, Chelsea

Recovering and refurbishing awnings is a key part of Morco's service commitment to existing customers. Replacing  awning covers is a cost effective way of preserving your existing awning by changing the colour, adding a new logo or text depicting your latest corporate style. At the same time as we recover your awnings we will check the existing fixings and advise on any furrther repairs which may be required.  For this pivot arm awning example, at the Dermalogica flagship store in Chelsea, we have replaced the old cover with a new smart blue fabric. To complete the change we have added to the graphic impact of the awning by the application, in white, of the Dermalogica logo

Dermalogica started in Los Angeles, in 1983. when Jane Wurwand, a tenured, British-trained skin therapist, new to the American "esthetician" industry, recognised that continuing skin and body therapy education was practically non-existent in the United States. There are now numerous retail outlets now around Europe and Chelsea is one of Dermalogica's key flagship locations.

Duke of York Square  is named after the Duke of York which title was first created in the Peerage of England in 1385 for Edmund of Langley, the fourth surviving son of Edward III. There have been eight holders of the title, the most recent being Prince Andrew, second son of Queen Elizabeth second. The origin of the well known  Nursery Rhyme "The Grand Old Duke of York" is not clear but the most popular source is Frederick, Duke of York and Albany (1763–1827) and its lyrics have the proverbial association with a futile action.
