Morco's Commercial Awnings commissioned for The Haymarket, Edinburgh

As part of Forster + Partners' major development of The Haymarket, Edinburgh, was the creation of numerous retail outlets requiring highly bespoke commercial awnings.  As the UK’s leading commercial awning design and manufacturing company, Morco was commissioned. The completion of these Greenwich® awnings follows on from an earlier phase completed in 2022 of a further twelve Greenwich® commercial awnings.

This project required close cooperation between Foster + Partners and Morco to ensure all criteria for a safe and stylish installation was met. Before the shop front was installed, our designers provided comprehensive specification drawings showing awning location details, enabling Foster + Partners to provide secure fixings points, which were then neatly concealed behind the window trim.  Being involved at such an early point significantly helped to finesse the design and installation of these stunning Greenwich® commercial awnings.
