Marlesbury Awnings for Ten Health and Fitness

The Marlesbury awning has fine, traditional, lines and can feature attractive sliding arms which allow the awning to retract into its fabric top cover even when the awning is installed at a low fixing height. However on this particular job there was sufficient head clearance for us be able to eliminate the slides so that the awning could be retracted through the means of a simple crank handle working via an efficient, sealed, gearbox.

The angle of these awnings provides a perfect elevation on which we have been able to the apply Ten Health and Fitness branding through the use of our own CAD based RAGS® graphics process which provides sharp outline text and complex graphics in full four colour format. The valances on this job have been weighted for additional stability.

Cover boards of the Marlesbury awnings are hand made from FSC sourced hardwood which is finished with a water based paint or stain to provide a weatherproofing to the closed awning covers which helps keep them in pristine condition when retracted and gives the awnings greater longevity.

The awning arms of the Marlesbury awning are formed on our computer aided bending machine which ensures absolute and critical symmetry in pairs of arms which is essential for proper functioning of the awning. The arms are powder coated in our London powder coating plant which gives them a high gloss impact resistant finish, which is significantly superior to the hand painted arms often seen on similar products.
