Gold Leaf for Pragnells of Leicester

This magnificent Signature awning has been installed at the exclusive Leicester jewellers, Pragnells of Market Street. The Signature is the  strongest of all our folding-arm awnings, being  robust enough to give protection to large areas (up to 12m x 4m) yet stylish enough for use in any commercial situation. The awning when retracted,  is enclosed entirely within its own housing ensuring complete protection against the elements  An especial feature of this particular awning at Pragnells is the branding which has been carefully applied by the artists in our London factory in genuine Gold Leaf. Gold Leaf is not an application which can be achieved easily and is only possible with the experience we have garnered since our beginnings back in 1956.  .

Pragnells have been presented with several Goldsmiths' Craft and Design Council awards, including recognition from software designers for pioneering development of computer technology in jewellery design. They are also a main distributor for the exclusive Patek-Philippe range of watches.

Leicester is one of the oldest cities in England, with a history going back at least two thousand years. The native Iron Age settlement encountered by the Romans at the site is said to have developed in the 2nd or 1st centuries BC. During 17^th Century Civil War Leicester was sacked by the Royalist, Rupert’s cavalry  and hundreds of people were killed the plunder being sent to the Royalist stronghold of Newark.
