Entrance Canopy for The Grosvenor Hotel Red Bar

The Grosvenor Hotel's Red Bar in Park Lane is is one of the world's classic hotel bars. The interior is famously styled with flamboyant crimson walls and dramatically mirrored columns, leather-clad bar and sink into seating.

With such a dramatic interior, Morco and the Grosvenor's in-house design team had to design the Signature Entrance Canopy to match this colour and opulence so they used decided on using a stunning crimson water & weather proof cloth, with a bull-nosed entance canopy design. Technically the challenge for Morco was the multiple elevations required to make a real focus to the entrance. This was achieved with a 90 degree turn within the length of the bull nosed Entrance Canopy which gives the Red Bar a prominent, elegant entrance that feels separate from the Hotel itself.
