Customised parasols for The Ivy Market Grill

As part of our long term relationship with The Ivy, it was much appreciated they chose us to supply parasols for their new venture, the recently launched The Ivy Market Grill. Located in the heart of in London's Covent Garden, The Ivy Market Grill follows the same beautiful art deco theme and offers good "home-from-home" food and delicious cocktails throughout the day in a relaxed atmosphere.

When it came to the parasols, it was anything but routine. We faced a challenging technical problem. Due to the nature of this Covent Garden building, the important waterproof tanking was too close to the surface to allow a standard fixing. The solution was to create a special counter-balanced shallow fixings for each parasol that gave all the security and stability required but without damaging the tanking.

The client was delighted with the final parasols as they deliver a wonderful outdoor dining experience with all the stye and elegance expected from The Ivy.
