These bespoke RIB® system based canopies at Sexyf Fsh on Berkeley Square in London have been a significant feature of the location years since we installed the originals some years ago.. However, recently the forward thinking patrons wanted to spice up the look of the restaurant and our designers created the even more dramatic design you see here. This time the branding, applied by hand, has been created in solid gold leaf to further accentuate the exclusivity of the restaurant. The RIB® system of construction is from all aluminium framework and we use no plastics based materials which can weaken the structure and of, course, would be environmentally less sensitive.
Sexy Fish is an Asian restaurant and bar located on the corner of Berkeley Square, Mayfair serving Japanese-inspired sushi, sashimi, seafood, fish and meat cooked on a Robata grill. The bar, which is open until late, holds the world’s biggest Japanese whisky collection, as well as offering a drinks menu featuring both classic and inventive cocktails.
Berkeley Square is probably most famous as the subject of the Eric Maschwitz and Manning Sherwin romantic song "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square". Sadly, The nightingale, a migrant songbird, celebrated in literature and music for the beauty of its song favours rural habitats, and is unlikely to ever be heard in Central London. Nevertheless the song has been recorded by artists as diverse as Vera Lynn and Rod Stewart and why should we let facts get in the way of a good story?
