Traditional trellis arm recover in Cheshire

14 Sep 2016

Sometimes we come across an unusual request and this time it was to recover a traditional awning in Tarporley Cheshire. We work all over the country but the unusual aspect of this job was that the awning, whilst of the normal traditional box type, also incorporated a scissor style of  trellis side arms.

These trellis arms were very common years ago but, because of the intricacy of design and the very high cost of manufacture, they have been generally superseded by sliding arms or the more modern folding arm awnings.

At Morco we are never phased by this sort of unusual combination of traditional and modern style and our technicians possess skills in all manner of awning designs which enables them to renovate awnings from any era.

Hoity Toity is an international chain of shoe boutiques who's designer shoes include those by award winning British shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood who's shoe designs combines artistic influences and luxurious textiles.

Tarporley is a large village and civil parish in Cheshire, England. It is bypassed by the A49 and A51 roads and is considered a picturesque village for both visitors and residents, holding a regular country market on the first Saturday of each month.  The famous Oulton Park motor racing circuit is nearby which in the 1950's and 1960's included Formula one races on it's calendar
