Classic Folding-Arm Awning Recovers for Aimé Leon Dore, Soho

We recently completed two classic folding-arm awning recovers for Aimé Leon Dore’s London flagship on Broadwick Street, Soho. The original covers, which had served the brand well since the store’s opening, were beginning to show signs of age. To preserve the boutique’s refined aesthetic, we supplied new recovers that remain faithful to the original design while bringing a refreshed, elevated finish.

Both awnings were handmade in our London workshop using a rich forest-green fabric that complements the store’s dark walnut and marble interiors. Each features a scalloped valance with a fine light-gold trim, echoing the brand’s understated luxury. The Aimé Leon Dore wordmark was applied to the valance in a colour carefully matched to the trim, ensuring it stands out with subtle precision.

The result is a crisp, premium finish that restores the façade’s impact and reinforces the brand’s distinctive presence in the heart of Soho.
